 Work History in a Nutshell

I studied to be an Interior Designer but the real world had other plans. I found myself working on projects and events for Drake University and Iowa State University Athletics out of college. To shake things up, I moved to Denver where I landed in retail.  I started at a fabulous kitchen store in Boulder and then moved into fashion, moving up the management ladder at Nordstrom, Eddie Bauer and Guess and into merchandising. Designing the store layout, building window displays, outfitting mannequins and merchandising the floor was more up my alley and allowed my creative juices to flow.  With the cost of living soaring in Denver and the commute taking longer each day, I decided it was time to move yet again.

I packed up my downtown apartment and moved to Spokane,Washington where I landed back into athletics and media sales launching my career into marketing. The advertising and marketing landscape has changed a lot over the last 10 years making the creative process more important than ever. Using yet another aspect of my creative brain, I've developed the skills of content writing, ad design, copy writing, photography, staging, layout, branding, logo design, website development, promotions, event planning, and oh so much more!

Throughout this time I have continued my love of interior design helping many of my friends and family with their homes and apartment design and have even picked up a number of construction and DIY skills along the way.

Which brings us to today.... Now I'm looking to pull from all of my professional background so I can help my clients in a number of ways.
